Alright, I was doing some reminicing the other day and I realized that my love for Gaasaku has stuck with me for years. I've always loved it, even when I first started watching the show.

I want all my GaaSaku loving friends to tell me why YOU love Gaasaku and HOW you came to love it so much.



Here's an example: My story on how I came to love GaaSaku...

It all started in the 6th grade when I first met my friend, Domni. We had been talking about anime ever since we first met and she told me about a show she watched called, 'Naruto'.

"What's that show about?" I asked her in confusion.

She began to tell me of all the adventures that our favorite orange ninja had gone through with his emo rival and beautiful friend.

"Who's that pretty girl with pink hair?" I asked as she told me about the Zabuza chronicals.

"Oh, That's Sakura Haruno. She's the smartest girl in the ninja academy" Domni explained.

After seeing all the characters, I noticed that Gaara had taken my interest the most out of all male characters in Naruto.

"He's very handsome" I found myself saying more often than usual.

I always liked to pretend that I was Sakura and go out on my own little missions in the woods near my house. My cousin Rebecca is the one who explained the most to me about Naruto though.

I found that I at one point in time would OC myself as Gaara's companion, but I realized that it didn't seem right. I loved Sakura and I loved Gaara, so I looked on the internet for pictures of them as a couple and found hundreds of them! DA was actually the first website I looked on for GaaSaku pictures!

I was so enmoursed by the pictures and stories of them that I found I even had dreams of them getting married occasionaly.

I was so happy that I found I was officialy a Gaara x Sakura fan now.

Reasons that GaaSaku WILL happen...



1. Capricorn and Aries are compatible

2. Blood Type O is compatible with O and AB Blood Types (For those of you that don't know, Sakura is O and Gaara is AB)

3. Monochromatic Colors!

4. Unsaturated Turquoise and Green are in the Cool Color Category.

5. Diplomatic pluses for both villages

6. Because they'll make pretty reddish-pink-haired, green-eyed babies!

7. Yashamaru was a medic-nin; Sakura is a medic-nin. Coincidence? I think not!

8. Sakura looks similar to Karura (Gaara’s Mother). (Guys generally tend to like/gravitate/have similar tastes towards the kind of women their father liked)

9. Sakura as a very motherly sort of character... In between her mood swings, of course. It's just what Gaara needs though, right? Someone capable enough to heal and tend his heart with the love and care he never received from his mother.

10. Sakura and Bulma seem to share a DRASTICALLY similar personality. (Green/blue eyes too! hmmm) As does Gaara and Vegeta. Hmmm (Bulma (Sakura) was in ‘love’ with Yamacha (Sasuke) but went to Vegeta (Gaara [it will happen]) when he dumped her)

11. Both (Bulma and Sakura) seem to fit into the 'super smart but otherwise kind of useless' category. Remember back to the chuunin exams; yes she was and still is a smart cookie.

12. Gaara's fight with Naruto totally changed his outlook on life. Like the first fight with Goku and Vegeta (who loses the fight) and while he didn't become 'good' quite as fast as Gaara, both went through long and ultimately drastic personality changes.

13. They (Vegeta and Gaara) at one point sacrifice their life to try and protect those they care and love.

14. Sakura likes cool, elite and hot guys! Gaara is elite, cool and hot! (Sasuke is no longer cool since he betrayed his friends )

15.Sakura needs a person in-between Sasuke appealing exterior, and Naruto's good heart/will, and Gaara fits that perfectly, don't you think?

16. Reya can 100% better-word-it-than-I and further elaborate on Sakura's foreshadowing via Tsunade.

17. Admiring her healing abilities for quite a prolong period of time

18. He appears to do the same again later on after he's resurrected. He's thinking something while looking at her. [Maybe he’s connecting her to Yashamaru, along with considering all those around him that care for him now. You're loved, Gaara!]

19. Screen time-wise, Gaara and Sasuke switched sides almost simultaneously. Gaara is almost always seen right beside Sakura, or in a shot before or after her.

20. …Well, who says it doesn't work? Not Kishimoto, that’s for DAMN sure!

21. Gaara and Sakura are the only two people in the Naruto Universe on whom Chiyo used Tensei Ninjutsu. Interesting ...no?

22. Sakura is foreshadowed to end up with a kage.

23. Gaara says again that he wants to be needed as the Kazekage is the exact same reason why Dan wanted to become Hokage; to help people and protect them. (Goes with picture)

24. Gaara also says he wants to be needed as Sand's Kazekage.The proof for Sakura to be shown as caught up to Tsunade is to be in the same situation as she was, and the proof of surpassing is to save the people Tsunade couldn't. In a way, Sakura needs Gaara there. As for Gaara, he specifically points out "Sand's Kazekage" instead of just "Kazekage" which could indicate a foreign relation. (Goes with picture)

25. Both seemed to have psycho sides in part one that disappeared at the beginning of part two

26. Sakura stood up to Gaara, when no one else ever had. I mean, think about it. Before her, the only people to face him head-on was Yashamaru, Sasuke (Who was afraid at first.), and Naruto (Who became hesitant soon after.).[link]hotoID=27618

28. From Temari: "She held her ground against Gaara..." That's right, Sakura stood up for those she loved, and this dedication reminded Gaara of Yashamaru. What else, she was the only one to do it without fear. (More information just scroll down) [link]hotoID=27621

What's this? Gaara says, "Someday, even I will..." And then it cuts to his kanji, meaning, "Love". So, in essence, he's saying "Someday, even I will love." Oh, my. And what is his inspiration for this thought? Naruto, of course. But what started this remembrance of memories? Why, our favorite pink-haired kunoichi! That's right. Sakura reminded him of Yashamaru, which then reminded him of his past.

30. In the beginning of the manga, Sakura made a statement similar to: He doesn't have any parents, so he's spoilt and never gets punished. If I did half the things he has, my parents would ground me for life! By which Sasuke tells her off. This was Sakura's immaturity summarized towards not understanding Naruto loneliness in part one, therefore its very important she ends up with a jinchuuriki.

31. Sakura seems to be at her strongest around the sand siblings.

32. Both have a "family but no friends" situation.

33. During the Opening it shows that little clip of Gaara reaching out his hand towards the viewer, the words being sung say, "Hey yo, I'm finally ready to climb. I'll stand no matter how many times I fall. For a long time, going towards a Bible. I've made our matching feelings visible, haven't I?" hmm interesting…

34. In the Opening for Naruto Shippuuden, Gaara reaching out could symbolize his need not only for acceptance, but for someone to share his life with. "Reaching out" isn't really a gesture of affection; it's a gesture of invitation. He's 'inviting' someone into his heart. What people are shown right after that invitation? His siblings, which we see have already grown closer to him, Sakura (Who reaches back, as well), and Naruto, who is the reason why he's changed.

35. During the Chuunin exams, Gaara attacks Lee, Sasuke and Naruto. Now, what do all those boys have in common? They all have been considered love interests for Sakura. Trying to eliminate the competition!

36. They'd have the hottest love-making ever...Kinky?
